Sandra Slatter
Founder / President
With over 30 years of experience and 30 successful community projects valued at $23 million delivered to date, Sandra heads up the organisation. She has a background of 30 plus years in economic, business and community development and has received numerous awards, such as the Centenary Medal, for her outstanding contribution to rural and regional small businesses. Her leadership and innovation qualities are displayed through her ability and actions to inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more.
Eugene Meegan
Vice President
Eugene is a former Registered General Nurse and Registered Psychiatric Nurse, and his career in public mental health services in metropolitan and rural areas spans more than 40 years. He has worked in hospitals and the community from direct clinical service provision to program and management. He is a previous Director of Heathcote Health and received a Life Governorship.
Kerrin Beecher R.N
R.N, MAppGeront, GradDipPallCAgedCare, MPCNA, MACN
Kerrin is a Registered General Nurse with more than 35 years’ nursing experience working in acute, community and residential aged care settings. The past 20 odd years of Kerrin’s career have been in residential aged care where she has directed Clinical Care and been the Residence/Facility Manager. Kerrin has a Master of Applied Gerontology, Graduate Diploma in Palliative Care in Aged Care and is undertaking further postgraduate study. Kerrin is passionate about aged care and of models and community design that support people living with, or without dementia, to age well within their communities and to remain in environments that are familiar to them.
Simon Drysdale
Build & Design
Simon has over 20 years of experience in architectural practice. He has managed many retirement living and residential aged care projects throughout Australia and abroad in New Zealand. As Senior Development Manager, Property, and Baptcare, Simon participates in the strategic direction, design and innovation of each project. He previously studied nursing and brings his insights from this time to his seniors living and aged care projects. Simon is passionate about designing for people in care and is currently undertaking research with Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT).
